The Shop
CaseMonta Custom Works is a bespoke woodworking shop specializing in domestic and exotic hardwood custom shutters. We are based outside Nashville, TN and serve the Middle Tennessee area.
The business was founded to fill a gap Casey kept seeing in the market: homeowners who wanted real wood shutters — not vinyl, not engineered composites, not catalog millwork — but couldn't find anyone willing to build them properly. What passes for custom at most millwork shops is a sizing exercise. Here, custom means species selection, hardware integration, mortise-and-tenon joinery, and a finish schedule tailored to how a particular facade faces the sun.
Every order begins with a site visit. Every shutter is built to fit the specific opening it will hang in. Lead times are honest, not optimistic. And everything that ships from this shop has been measured, cut, joined, and finished by the same pair of hands.

Site Visit
We come to you. Every opening is measured by hand, and the facade is photographed from multiple angles. Nothing is estimated from a blueprint.

Material Selection
You choose from our wood library. We advise on durability, grain character, and regional climate suitability — White Oak weathers differently than Ipe, and that matters in Tennessee.

Handbuilt in Nashville
Lead time is 6–8 weeks from deposit. No outsourced cutting, no CNC for joinery. Every mortise, tenon, and louver is shaped and fitted in our shop.

Installed and Warranted
We install every set ourselves. Hardware is fitted, alignment is checked, and the work is documented. We stand behind it.
